Kickstart your career with Community Solutions and gain a cert III in Fire Protection Control. This 4-year junior apprenticeship based in Townsville will provide a solid foundation to work alongside a team of qualified trade technicians and electricians, who will support and guide the successful candidate to complete their trade and gain a Cert III in Fire Protection Control.

If you have a genuine desire to work within the Fire Industry (electrical sub industry) and an interest in passive and active fire installation, this is the apprenticeship for you! This qualification provides competencies to select, install, setup, test, fault find, repair, and maintain fire protection systems in multiple, commercial, and industrial premises.

Essential Qualifications:

• Construction White Card


• Certificate II in Electrotechnology highly regarded


• Manual driver’s license


• LVR & CPR desirable


• Ability to provide two work or school related references


• Successful candidates will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical with drug and alcohol testing.

Who We Are?

Community Solutions is a non-for-profit organisation operating as a commercial business, providing apprentices and trainees to a variety of different businesses throughout Queensland. We provide apprentices and trainees important career guidance and opportunity to earn while they learn. Dedicated Field Officers are assigned to apprentices and trainees to provide ongoing support to completing their chosen trade qualification.
