Our Service & Maintenance team is expanding, and we’re looking for a motivated technician to join us in supporting essential fire protection assets across our client portfolio.
The Opportunity
We are seeking a Portables & Passive Fire Technician to carry out routine inspection, testing and maintenance of portable and passive fire protection equipment in accordance with AS 1851.

What You’ll Work On
Routine inspections and testing of:
– Fire extinguishers
– Fire hydrants
– Fire hose reels
– Fire doors and passive fire assetsMinor repairs, replacements and defect identification
Accurate documentation, reporting and photo capture via mobile systems
Professional communication with clients and site contacts
Collaborating with the scheduling and operations team to deliver high-quality service outcomes
What You’ll Bring
A positive attitude and willingness to learn the fire industry
Strong work ethic and good communication skills
Ability to deliver high-quality, compliant service outcomes
Commitment to workplace safety
Current C-Class Driver’s Licence
Construction White Card
Current National Police Clearance
Nice to have (but not essential):
Experience servicing portable fire equipment
Working knowledge of AS185
Exposure to passive fire inspections
