Our Service & Maintenance team is expanding, and we’re looking for a motivated technician to join us in supporting essential fire protection assets across our client portfolio.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Portables & Passive Fire Technician to carry out routine inspection, testing and maintenance of portable and passive fire protection equipment in accordance with AS 1851.

What You’ll Work On

• Routine inspections and testing of:
  – Fire extinguishers
  – Fire hydrants
  – Fire hose reels
  – Fire doors and passive fire assets

• Minor repairs, replacements and defect identification

• Accurate documentation, reporting and photo capture via mobile systems

• Professional communication with clients and site contacts

• Collaborating with the scheduling and operations team to deliver high-quality service outcomes

What You’ll Bring

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn the fire industry

• Strong work ethic and good communication skills

• Ability to deliver high-quality, compliant service outcomes

• Commitment to workplace safety

• Current C-Class Driver’s Licence

• Construction White Card

• Current National Police Clearance

Nice to have (but not essential):

• Experience servicing portable fire equipment

• Working knowledge of AS185

• Exposure to passive fire inspections
