Due to consistent growth, we're seeking a Passive Fire Technician (Inspection & Testing) to join their team in Sydney. Within this role you will be responsible for conducting inspections, testing, and reporting of passive fire protection systems across commercial, industrial, and residential sites, ensuring compliance with Australian Standards and relevant legislation.

The role:

• Inspect and assess passive fire protection systems, fire stopping, fire and smoke walls, penetrations, and dampers.
• Conduct routine inspections and testing in accordance with AS 1851 and relevant Australian Standards
• Accurately complete inspection reports, defect lists, and compliance documentation
• Identify non-compliances and provide clear recommendations for rectification
• Liaise professionally with clients, site managers, and internal teams
• Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and workmanship at all times

What we're looking for:

• Relevant trade qualification or certification in passive fire (desirable)
• Previous experience in passive fire inspections, testing, or fire protection services
• Sound knowledge of Australian Standards, including AS 1851 and NCC requirements
• Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
• Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule
• Current driver's licence and white card
• Strong communication and customer service skills
