About the Opportunity

Stellar Recruitment are currently seeking experienced Fire Technicians for a permanent position commencing as soon as possible with one of our industry leading clients based in Brisbane.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Installation, servicing, inspecting, testing, fault finding, trouble shooting and repairing of fire detection alarm, warning systems and Associated Control and Indication equipment in commercial projects and fit outs.
• Servicing, inspecting, and testing Exit and Emergency Lighting systems.
• Ability to work within a team environment on commercial sites including schools, fit outs, childcare, multi-res and aged care, healthcare.
• Ability to work unsupervised.
• Read and interpret plans, specifications and schedules.
• Attention to detail and time management skills.

Requirements

• Complete and pass pre-employment and ongoing drug and alcohol screening.
• QBCC Licensed.
• Current C class manual driver’s licence.
• Current Queensland Electrical Workers Licence.
• Prior experience in hazardous areas would be advantageous.
• You MUST also be able to obtain a current police clearance.
