We are seeking motivated Fire Protection and Fire Engineering professionals to join a growing specialist fire safety consulting team.

This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects across the built environment, delivering practical, compliant and performance-based fire safety solutions.

The Role
You will be involved in the delivery of fire safety and fire engineering services from concept design through to construction and certification. Working closely with internal teams, clients and external stakeholders and you will play a key role in ensuring life safety, property protection and regulatory compliance across projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver fire protection and fire safety engineering solutions across commercial, residential, industrial and mixed-use developments
• Prepare fire engineering strategies, performance-based solutions and compliance reports in line with NCC and Australian Standards
• Undertake fire risk assessments and technical assessments to support design outcomes
• Coordinate with architects, building services engineers and authorities having jurisdiction
• Provide advice on passive and active fire systems, fire and smoke modelling, cladding fire safety and special hazards where required
• Support site inspections, commissioning and compliance audits throughout project delivery

About You

• Degree qualified in Fire Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Services or a related discipline
• Experience in fire protection engineering, fire safety consulting or a related field
• Strong knowledge of Australian fire safety legislation, NCC and performance-based design
• Clear written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
• Consulting experience and familiarity with design and documentation processes is highly regarded
