ConsultANZ is seeking experienced Fire Protection Equipment Technician for a growing Western Australia-based company specialising in systems for heavy mobile and fixed plant equipment. Based in Perth, this full-time role involves installation and servicing across mining, industrial, and commercial sectors. Main Duties:

• Install, test, and commission mobile fire suppression systems to industry standards.
• Perform regular maintenance and servicing to ensure system reliability.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults in systems.
• Stay up to date with AS5062 and AS1851 fire industry standards for compliance.
• Build strong client relationships through professional on-site engagement.
• Complete job documentation accurately and maintain detailed records.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and service quality.
• Work independently with precision and attention to detail.
• Display a proactive, respectful attitude towards colleagues and clients.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle in good condition.
• Undertake other tasks as required by management.

Requirements:

• A Certificate IV in Fire Systems Compliance (AS5062) or an equivalent qualification is preferred but not required.
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team while maintaining high standards.
• Proactive problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to quality.

Benefits:

• $90,000 to $110,000 depending on experience
